(I looked it up, and what I found didn't say it. However, I feel that you simply label it as "psionic" in order to sneak magic around your own bio rules)
The energy- now converted into telekinetic-powered kinetic force- slammed into her assailant, the burned and charred hound that laid before her now missing it's lower jaw. However, as it's tongue hung freely from the mouth, it still growled. It began sprinting its way towards Aerlina, heavily bleeding some manner of ash from its wounds.

Aerlina launched two bullets from her bag at the hound and put up her mental barrier again.

The Ash Hound crumpled into cinders as the bullets impacted into the body- creating a thick cloud of smoke as it perished. That single beast, however, didn't seem to be the only one, considering the growls and noises filling the area in a unholy cacophony. From the smoldering buildings around her, yet another being stumbled at her- from her left. This one was humanlike- the skin burnt to ash but having liquid flame leaking from it's wounds. From her right a wounded Ash hound charged at her- teeth glowing a brilliant red from heat.

Aerlina focused on her kinetic barrier.

(You've criticized me for doing single sentence replies. At least have the decency to practice what you preach.)
The ash hound crashes against the barrier, the heat and attacks enough to shatter the barrier. The Emberling human did not move from the remains of the doorway it had appeared from, and collapsed to its knees. The thing clasped its hand together, as if in prayer, before releasing a brilliant orange disc of flame- crashing against her left arm.
Dealt 5 damage.

Aerlina fell back, still completely in control and sent out 6 bullets into the hound.

The Ash Hound, who was already injured from a prior event, simply crumpled into chunks of burnt flesh as the storm of bullets. He was missing a leg already, as she had noticed before. The Emberling only groaned and grunted as a corona of flame surrounded its clasped hands in order to prepare for another attack. Upon closer inspection, it did appear that its hands were melted together.

6 more bullets flew out from Aerlina, towards the emberling.

The bullets slammed into the Emberling, one after another, until the sixth finally caused it to crumple- both figuratively and literally. As the creature let out the last of its death rattle, the only other sound was the occasional pop and crackle of a burning fire.
Well, that and the sounds of sobbing coming from a nearby house.
(I believe this is a level up.)

(You're the one who chooses when it's a level up and I did the points distribution.)
Aerlina headed for the sobbing, feeling stronger after the fight.
