Al-Amir Ala carefully stepped along the small trails left by wildlife. He looked around, his shield on his left arm and bow lowered.

A rabbit rushed out of the wood and past Al-Almir Ala. The rabbit seemed terrified, as if it was fleeing from something.

Al-amir took a step back as the small mammal rushed by him, and cocked an arrow in his bow. He gazed in the direction the rabbit fled from, and took aim at the brush.

Al-amir could hear somebody trying to stealthily creep up to him, but it didn't seem to be working very well... It sounded like a humanoid creature.

Al-amir sighed as he placed his bow on his back and replaced the arrow. He then twirled towards the noise as he drew his scimitar in one hand and brandishing his shield in the other.

An orc of enormous proportions with bulging muscles all over him and wielding a great sword, came out of the bushes, his well-forged amor glistening in the sun.

Al-Amir's answer was to sprint at the orc in order to get to close for the giant sword to be useful, raise the buckler to deflect the blade to the left, and do an upward swing at the right armpit with the scimitar.

The orc proved quiet agile, backtracking out of Al-Amir's reach and coming again, swiping his mighty great sword, which burst into flames, to keep Al-Amir away.

(Would you mind saying what direction and how an enemy attacks? It helps fights a little easier to... fight.)
Al-amir rolled backwards as he attempted to dodge the fiery attack. He slowly stepped back as he hefted his shield up.

(If Al-Amir was walking from east to west, the orc came out from the south. And he stepped backwards, and the sword was sliced from right to left for him.)
The orc tensed his legs, angled his sword, holding it with just one hand and seemingly prepared to spring.

Al-amir silently took several steps to the side, trying to put a tree between him and the orc as he switched his sword for a bow.

The orc, being not as stupid as most, jumped impossibly high, soaring over the suddenly, not so tall, tree and falling down on Al-Amir great sword raised for chopping over head and falling with flames.

The tree fell, causing Al-amir to leap backwards, letting loose an arrow in surprise at the leaper of unrealistic proportions. He once again switched weapons, and drew his sword. "Cheater." He said in a deep and raspy voice.

The orc laughed and attacked in rapid succession, swiping from right to left, stopping in mid-swing when Al-Amir did the only thing possible: stepped backwards. The orc came a head in a lunge at the unbalanced skeleton and it seemed as he was about to die, when an arrow flew out of nowhere, slamming into the orc's great sword and shattering it in pieces. Another arrow burrowed deep into the brain of the orc.

Al-amir stared at the now deceased orc, and sighed a rattling breath. As much as he knew that he was being attacked by rather tough enemy, he was anticipating a long fight he knew he could win. After all, the dead do not tire. He sheathed his scimitar and snatched the sword from the corpse, and raised his shield in the direction of the arrow. "Reveal yourself, if you'd please."
