"Why should I, beast?" asked a voice right behind Al-Amir.

"I am supposing you are a hunter. I am no beast, rather, I am but a weary traveler from the far east. Then again, you could simply put an arrow in my skull and end me. If so, the innocent you would kill would be named Al-amir Ala of the Red Sands." He said, slowly turning to face the speaker.

Noone was behind him. A voice from his new behind spoke: "You are innocent for you are dead and the dead are never innocent, especially a dead warrior. You have killed and you have slaughtered without regret and therefore you are a beast and nothing else. As for putting an arrow into your skull, that wouldn't kill you. I wonder how will you react to a holy symbol?"

Al-amir sighed, and slapped the front of his skull. "You are quick to judge, are you not? Thinking you know how I came to die, that I am a thoughtless killing machine? I was- am- the only son of the powerful healer Jafar Ala. I was killed in a battle against bandits, and he tried his best to revive me. If I were to see a holy symbol, I'd pray at it you judgmental hunter. Now would you kindly introduce yourself." He turned his head 180 degrees to look behind him.

There was noone behind him. A voice from the back of his head said: "I shall test if that's true!" he put a holy symbol on Al-Amir's skull and it burned!

Al-amir sighed as the speaker somehow shoved some random holy symbol past his hood and onto his bare bone. He swatted at it, growling slightly and raising the orc's flaming blade. "Wrong God you idiot- I have been spared from death in the name of holiest Ra, but I do not want my soul taken by some random deity with an afterlife. Now atop attacking me- you are the provoking me, not the other way around! Now I was going to thank you, but you seem to be an inconsiderate, biased, AND racist hunter. You can't seem to understand I am not a sinner- I died due to people so set in their ways as you are. I'd enjoy not dying again."

"How dare you say such things about the one true diety!" booms a woman voice. "Kill him, Elbereth!"

Al-amir sighs once more, slamming the blade of the greatsword onto the ground and putting his hand on the handle of his Scimitar "I was acknowledging the existence of your 'Diety'. My soul will not go to any afterlife but the holy lands of Anubis if I have my say. Your Diety was trying to steal my soul. For the love of all that is sane I leave one country of followers intent on spreading their religion through bloodshed... "

Wind bashed trees and pushed Al-Amir back as the priestess began to chant to her diety. An elf, probably named Elbereth, jumped down and dropped his bow. His sword gracefully appeared in his hand and he began a charge at Al-Amir, a charge that was even faster with the wind blowing into the elf's back.

Al-amir was nearly unaffected by the wind gust, simply digging the greatsword that was already in the ground deeper into the dirt. He stared at the elf charged at him, and sighed as he drew his scimitar with his right hand, waited until he was a close to within range, then swung the blade in a semi circle in front of him.

The elf stopped abruptly, jumped back and threw himself in a summersault, his body arced and going over Al-Amir. He touched down and span around, swiping his blade to keep Al-Amir at bay while he was off-balance.

Al-amir sheathed the scimitar, pulled the greatsword from the ground, and let the wind guide his blade as he took a step forward, executing an overhead strike. He had both the wind and the large size of the weapon on his side.

The elf seemed to suddenly fly back out of reach, with the force of the wind and just stop, as if the wind stopped existing. he charged and launched his sword at Al-Amir, following through with a hook of his fist.

Al-amir would have raised an eyebrow as the elf charged once more. In response, he hefted the greatsword in both hands, took a single step back against the wind, pivoted his heel, and swung a powerful chest-height sweeping attack.

At the last second, the elf let the wind throw him back and away. Al-Amir felt burning pain in his back.
