(I didn't say, because you can't know that, unless you look behind you... Which Al-Amir apparently decided to not do, so I told why he couldn't have moved.)

(... you know you can literally walk off a knife right? It ain't impossible- people have walked off being impaled by bigger and longer things. Hell people can move if they're impaled on rebar. . Unless this knife is secretly hooked and is hooked around his flesh, or is being "hugged: onto the knife, he is fully capable of movement.)
Al-amir raised his eyebrow at this. "That is less than nice you know. At least take me to dinner first." He said, slashing in a circle around him with the Orc's flaming blade as he dashed forward and turned.

(That coldness, means that you are dying, if you don't remember and it would be rather hard to move off it...)
His sword smashed into the hood of a person. That person had a black cape around him and a raven imprinted on it. Everything the men wore was black and Al-Amir's hit did nothing to him, it just bounced off.

(I think that someone could tell the difference between being impaled and being stabbed. Plus, ever heard of Adrenalin?)
"Now, I don't know if you know how it works around here, but this here is a greatsword." Al-amir grunted as he hefted flaming blade in both hands, pressing the flames against his wound in order to cauterize it. "You see, the point of a greatsword isn't to slice a paper lengthwise. No, it uses it's weight and size to cleave opponents into pieces. " He wielded it now, extending the sword forwards in both hands. "Let us try that again- because the momentum from the weight slamming into your head should've been enough to stun you. Now, do me a favor and find peace in the afterlife." Al-amir sprinted forward, Adrenalin fueling his movements, and swung the blade at his opponents neck.

The man didn't move, but his hand was suddenly holding the blade. His movement were faster than Al-Amir could see. The man closed his fingers a bit and the blade started to give cracks.

Al-amir sighed as his brand new sword was being demolished with such ease, and released a hand from the grip. He then quickly reached down into his quiver and stabbed at where the man's left armpit was with a razor sharp arrow- a place where armor is never able to cover due to it restricting movement of that entire side of the body.

The man's arm simply disappeared and the sword fell to the ground. The arrow hit the clock, but just stopped without piercing it. "There is no point to trying to kill me." explained the figure. "All I am doing, is ridding you of the pain of immortality..."

Al-amir scoffed at his words, and threw the arrow at the man's neck- using the small distraction as a cover for him to draw his scimitar. "You Elves truly know nothing about holy resurrections- the magic sustaining me will last roughly a century after the... passing of the caster. In the rarest cases it'll last two. My father left this earth twenty years ago. Chances are you will outlive me. After all, the only magic sustaining it is- was, the work of two decades."

"If you aren't immortal, then I have no problems with you..." told him the man. "But if you ever become immortal, then remember that I will come for you..." The man's form just elongated and moved in less than less than less than less than less x100 than a fraction of a millisecond.

(That isn't perceptible to neither the human eye nor the human brain.)
Seeing that the man was different from what he was before, Al-amir simply grasped his sword with both hands. "If anyone is the Immortal here, chances are it is you. With a reaction speed like that, no one could ever hope to touch you."

The man appeared again. "I am 34 quadrillion years old... My life has been full of suffering... You can't imagine how many people I killed or saw die... And, even if I don't move, I am still unkillable.... The only way to kill me, is also the way to end the infinite parallel worlds..." He explained and moved again. "Oh, and that's nowhere near my reaction speed..." Al-Amir heard. as if the man told him an afterthought. The dagger was taken away from his body and he became a skeleton again.

Al-amir had the peculiar sensation of warm air that previously occupied his lungs float past his ribs unimpeded, and clothes fitting more loosely than before. "My dark clothed compatriot, I believe that simply throwing yourself into a pit filled with gas and bad air would effectively knock you out indefinitely. What does not make sense, is what in the world are 'Parallel Worlds'. I am a traveller, not an astronomer."

"That gas will have no effect on me... Not after I have killed the god of space... And parallel worlds are other worlds which can have drastic changes or the tiniest change of all. Like the way somebody lay down a sword... Parallel worlds can be traveled through magic and they are infinite..." explained a voice. "Travellers normally travel through parallel worlds, not on normal ground. You can also visit any of the 53 parallel worlds that are owned by the Elvadorian Empire for only a small fee, back in Elvador."

Al-amir nodded his head. "You are completely insane, but I am going to agree because you seem very powerful. I am but a traveler, and you are simply a warrior who chose to intervene in a largely one sided battle after I was near death. Now if you would excuse me, I have to figure out how to make a profit off of nearly dying while you destroy what was the most valuable item I had- the enchanted broadsword."

"It isn't the most powerful item you have. And no, I'm not insane. You can go and ask anyone in Elvador. And if you knew who I was, you wouldn't be throwing around insults." said the voice.
